The Brief/Main responsibilities

Creating a clear branding strategy and guidelines for the User Interface of the brands Pfaff, Singer & Husqvarna Viking.

Project overview

In this project I was responsible for creating UI/UX Branding guidelines. This project was part of a larger project where we unified the User Experience for the brands.

 

 We started off by getting aquiantenced with the brands by talking with different people in the organization about their view of the brands. We studied personas, general brand guidelines and previous Industrial Design and User Interface Design to be able to pin-point the core and flavour of the brands.

Thereafter we had a look at what we could have as unique features for the brands and what needed to be the same with regards to the unified User Experience.

Based on this we created concepts that we presented to stakeholders and iterated till we reached a fulfilling result. The result was presented and published internally together with an internal step-by-step UX guide on how to create themes.
