Reflections & Improvements
I find it important to reflect upon executed projects to evaluate my work and finds way of improving my work. One reflection I had on this project is that we narrowed down our target group too late which led to a very wide scope. Also, we found using mediating objects as being very helpful in this project but used them in a very late state of our progress which is something I bring to my next project. As well, we started our designing of Value propositions quite late after gathering and analysing the data. This lead to the iterative and evaluation phase of the design being short. Overall, I am very proud and happy with the work done in this project but of course, there are improvements to be made.

The process of data collection, (figure further down on the site) was initiated with theoretical research with the purpose to generate insights from existing research. The theoretical research was followed by market research to create an understanding of active actors but also map potential aspects where current service providers are insufficient. The theoretical research and market research was also complemented with discussions with industry experts that have unique insight into MaaS. The process of understanding the users was initiated alongside theoretical research, market research and discussions with industry experts (figure further down on the site).

I am so glad that you have found your way here! My name is Clara Nilsson and I'm a product designer with several years of experience educated at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg.
My previous experience include leading design strategies, driving product development and building design systems for global brands such as Singer and Husqvarna Viking.
I am also the Technical Leader for Design & Human Factors at Combitech, where I strategically drive UX competency development. This experience has further strengthened my ability to see the bigger picture, to plan, visualize, and define new user and service experiences, and to apply design and design thinking to business challenges.
I am a curious, outgoing, positive person who loves complex problem solving and holistic and sustainable user centered design solutions. My aim is to always work with people who is passionate about making a positive impact through design & technology. ​

Originally from the coastal town of Varberg, I spent two years in London before making Gothenburg my home for the last decade. This coastal upbringing means I'm happiest swimming in the ocean in the summer and relaxing in saunas in the winter.

I have a diverse range of passions and hobbies, including dancing and karaoke with friends, taking my dogs on new walking routes, second-hand shopping, drawing, reading and writing short stories. I enjoy discussing everything and nothing, practicing pole sports, and balcony gardening. My years in the restaurant industry instilled a deep appreciation for food and wine, resulting in frequent restaurant visits with loved ones.
My curious nature drives my interests in everything from politics, music and history to natural science and culture. I'm a huge dog enthusiast, having studied ethology and dog behavior at university. I also have a desire to contribute, having volunteered for a dog rescue, served as a mentor at PEPP, and currently a new member of RFSU.
